County ARES Meeting
When:
February 28th, 2012
Time:
7:00PM - 9:00PM
Location:
American Red Cross - Dayton Area Chapter,
370 West First Street, Dayton, OH 45402.
It
is the first building east of I-75 on 1st St on
the south side of the road or to the right. Parking
is anywhere around or behind the building, including
between the Red Cross and the school. Do not block
any Red Cross vehicles. Access the building from
the front door closest to 1st St. All are welcome
to attend.
2012 Montgomery County Skywarn Training
The
2012 Montgomery County Dayton Skywarn Training has
been scheduled for Saturday March 17, 2012 from
9 AM to 1 PM at the Miami Valley Hospital, Berry
Women's Building Auditorium. Contact Louis Long,

information.
Statewide Tornado Drill
The
Statewide Tornado Drill will be held on Wednesday
March 28th at 9:50 AM. Dayton Skywarn will be in
operation and taking checkins on the 146.640 Repeater.
Donations Urgently Needed
Montgomery
County ARES continues to solicit monetary donations
to help support its operating expenses.
Montgomery County ARES is not a club and does not
collect dues. We are an organization consisting
of trained amateur radio volunteers, that coordinates
its resources and manpower to help serve those agencies
when a disaster and/or communication emergency exists.
If you are interested in helping out with a monetary
